Donation to High Tatras

In the long term, we support environmental projects that identify with the philosophy of sustainable development. In 2005, 20 mill Slovak crowns were donated for restoration of a catastrophic wind throw damage in the High Tatras. Hereby SLOVNAFT became the most generous donor.

Owing to a sticker campaign initiated by SLOVNAFT and MOL in their filling stations at the beginning of the past year, people buying the stickers enabled purchase of about 500 thousand tree plants for restoration of forests damaged by the wind in our high mountains.

We do believe that, with our and our customers-motorists´ contributions, the High Tatras forests will become green again in full glory.

Our support is not a one-time aid since we know that, as the trees grow, the care of them will have to be long lasting.
