Quality Management encompasses several coordinated activities which direct and control quality improvements in an organisation. Our certified management systems related to quality, environment and safety issues guarantee that our processes are carried out as defined in the standards.
Quality management – it is never late to start

Within MOL Group, the development and maintenance of management systems are based on the following key actions:
- development of MOL Group-level policy and objectives; Group-level coordination of their completion
- implementation, operation and improvement of selected standard-based management systems (SBMSs) e.g. the Quality Management System, the Environmental Management System, the Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and/or other standards or combinations of them.
- audit of SBMS processes including those that are operated by areas not covered by SBMSs
- development of subsidiaries’ requirements of SBMSs and support for their application
support activities related to performance improvement.
MOL Group-level Quality Management
The application of comprehensive quality management tools contributes to the achievement of the strategic objectives of excellence and dynamism, and supports the improvement of operational efficiency and cost-reduction through development of optimally regulated and reliable processes, and provision of well-balanced product and service quality.
At corporate management level, Quality Management is embodied in MOL Group-level quality policy, quality management principles and requirements, as well as in the implementation of programmes and actions initiated to achieve the same. Within the framework of corporate-level projects, we carry out strategic initiatives, - enhancement of certified systems; improvement of the Supplier Management System; preparation for using EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Business Excellence model-based self-assessment.
Our systems and certification information
At operational level, we operate certified standard management systems in all areas where it is expected by customers or required by law. The development of an integrated system and its operation is necessary, where, in addition to Quality Management Systems, we operate other professional standard-based management systems. (e.g. environment-oriented management, labour health and safety, food hygiene, etc.).
All our laboratories have accredited qualifications.
